CURRICULUM VITAE

I am a highly motivated and creative Story Artist, with a fine eye for framing, timing and detail. I love storytelling and making people laugh.

My work experience includes both Broadcast and Feature Film Storyboarding for CG, Stop Motion and 2D Animation.

I have a degree in Drawing and specialised in 2D and Stop Motion animation for my major project.

I have been working as a storyboard artist and designer for 2D animations as well as Stop Motion films.

I work closely with the Director to visualise and illustrate all ideas, creating thumbnail sketches and finished storyboards in Photoshop as well as animatics.

I have extensive experience in the animation industry including 6 years working as an animator on Stop Motion and 2D projects.

As a result of my animation experience I have a thorough understanding of film language.

I am an excellent draughtsperson and both fast and reliable. I work well from my own initiative, but can also take direction and visualise the director's ideas quickly and effectively.

My experience on both stop motion as well as 2D animation projects means I understand the specific challenges that can occur using each technique and know how to creatively achieve the best results possible from the storyboard to the finished animation.

I usually work with a Wacom Tablet or a Cintiq.

I'm a reliable and flexible team member and can adapt to any drawing style. I really enjoy contributing to different projects!
